Women in Business - Caught in the Middle: Women of the Sandwich Generation
Many women today find themselves balancing multiple roles at once—building careers, leading businesses, raising children, caring for aging parents, and remaining actively involved in their communities. This growing demographic is often referred to as the “Sandwich Generation,” women who are navigating the responsibility of supporting both younger and older generations at the same time.
Our upcoming Women in Business event, “Caught in the Middle: Women of the Sandwich Generation,” will explore the realities of living and leading in this season of life. The conversation will focus on the challenges many women face as they manage competing responsibilities while continuing to grow professionally and personally.
We are pleased to feature a panel of accomplished women leaders who bring diverse professional and personal perspectives to the discussion:
- Yvette Harris, owner, Horizon Motor Coach
- Amy Hane, owner, Long Term Liaisons
- Jennifer Turman, HR Manager, SRP Federal Credit Union
- April Collins, CEO, Aiken Electric Cooperative, Inc.
Through an engaging panel discussion, these leaders will share real experiences and perspectives about navigating career demands while caring for family members and remaining active in their communities.
Attendees can expect honest dialogue, practical insight, and meaningful connection with women who understand the pressures—and the purpose—of being in the middle. Whether you are currently balancing these responsibilities or preparing for what may come in the future, this conversation will offer perspective, encouragement, and community.
We invite you to join us for this important discussion and connect with other women who are leading, supporting, and navigating life in the middle.
