Compliance for Today, Planning for Tomorrow: Keeping up with the changes and planning how to operate in the new normal.

Compliance for Today, Planning for Tomorrow: Keeping up with the changes and planning how to operate in the new normal.

As our community begins to rebound from the COVID-19 pandemic, business owners and managers are confronting a "new normal". Managing in this new era will be different and depend on how willing leaders are to stray from their comfort zone and challenge their traditional ways. Hear from a forward thinking community leader about areas of focus to help you navigate what's to come.

Managing your business in the now:

  • The Everchanging Department of Labor guidance for the new "Families First Coronavirus Response Act" (FFCRA)
  • OSHA Guidelines and how the General Duty Clause applies
  • Screening of Employees Health/Sickness (What's allowed?)
Weathering the Storm:
  • You didn't get an SBA loan? Now What?
  • Employees who have proven they don't belong anymore. (Weed the Garden)
  • Relaxation of Federal timelines and taxes.
  • Go where the Business is!
  • Collections and Cash Receivables
  • Reductions of Salaries and change in employee duties/exempt status
Changes for the Future
  • Policies to Consider
  • Adaptation of new tech/apps
  • Org Chart Changes
  • Refilling open positions.
