Sara Snelling Wilson has dedicated her career, through workforce development initiatives, to improving job options for individuals and assisting businesses in staying competitive in the global marketplace. Sara has traveled extensively throughout the Southeastern states to provide tailored solutions to business leaders to help them achieve more successful and prosperous workplaces. Currently she serves as the Business Development Specialist for the South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Department. For the past five years, her dedication to helping members of our community overcome barriers has opened doors to a brighter future for those living with disabilities. She continues to serve the business community by introducing options for a more inclusive workforce and offering solutions to bridge skill gaps in future employees.
Even though Sara grew up in the part of North Augusta that is in Edgefield County, she has called North Augusta home for most of her life. After graduation from the University of South Carolina, she lived in Lexington, for several years, after marrying her Columbia native husband, Jeffery. She and Jeffery currently resides within the city limits of North Augusta with their daughter, Libby, who is in 6th grade at Paul Knox Middle School.
