“Success is to be measured not so much by  the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome while trying to succeed.” – Booker T. Washington
In honor of Black History Month, the North Augusta Chamber of Commerce has invited Reverend Dr. George L. Brightharp, owner, G.L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary,  the oldest minority-owned business in Downtown North Augusta to speak on life in North Augusta as a minority.
Reverend Dr. George Brightharp will discuss being born and raised in North Augusta and relationships he’s cultivated over the years with other business owners and community leaders.
