(M) 2023 Kids' Fishing Derby and Shooting Day
Come join Tactical Advantage Sportsmans Complex at Fort Gordon for a day all about the kids!
We are having a FREE Kids' Fishing Derby and Shooting Day! This is a great opportunity to get out and spend the day as a family and enjoy the sunshine. Children can fish and shoot archery, skeet and/or trap!
Kids’ Fishing Derby: Registration begins at 7 am and fishing begins at 8 am at Claypit Lakes. Children ages 3 to 15 years old are invited to join us at the Fishing Derby. Prizes will be given for highest weight of fish caught. Limit of one pole per child and bait will be providing.
Lunch Break: Lunch will be from 12 - 1pm at Claypit Lakes. Free hot dogs and sodas will be available to each participant.
Kids’ Shooting Day: Head over to Range 14 for instructional and recreational shooting event for the kids from 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm! An adult must accompany the child while on the range. Instruction for Archery, Trap and Known Distance Shooting will be offered.
