(M) "Living Inside Out" Prayer Labyrinth and Art Exhibition
Are you looking for a way to break up these cold winter days? Or are you interested in starting out this year's journey through the Church season of Lent in a new way? You are invited to come check out Grace UMC's "Living Inside Out" Prayer Labyrinth and Art Exhibition event, hosted by the Adult Ministries Department. The event will be held in our Wesley Center Auditorium (the building near the circular drive - look for the signs!).
"The Seven Last Sayings of Jesus" is a thought-provoking installation of canvas prints from the artist Scott Erickson - you can view these at your own speed or use the guided meditation to help you. Mr. Erickson is an artist, writer, and speaker from Washington state. You can find samples of his work at @scottthepainter on most major social media outlets.
You are invited to learn more about using a labyrinth as part of your prayer practice. Do a guided walk through our 5-circuit Chartres labyrinth, or wander at your own pace.
We are also excited to announce that Compass for Hope, a local organization that serves the homeless population in our area will also be sharing about the work they do and different ways you can get involved!
