This week's story is The Nutcracker. 

The Nutcracker and the Mouse King was originally a book by ETA Hoffman. In the late 1800s, it was turned into a ballet and became the holiday tradition we know today. Today, Ms. Renee is sharing two variations on the story. Featured books: "The Nutcracker in Harlem" by T.E. McMorrow and "The Dance of the Realms" by Calliope Glass.
