(M) Virtual Seminar - Veteran's Aid & Attendance, hosted by Brookdale Senior Living Community
Brookdale Senior Living Community is very excited to offer an important virtual seminar for seniors about the Veterans Aid & Attendance Pension.
I have talked to many families who didn’t know that this pension was available. Often times this pension gives seniors the ability to afford the care they need, whether they stay at home or are interested in moving to an assisted living community.
Dwight L. Bradham, Director, Aiken County Veterans Services will be sharing information about the Veterans Aid & Attendance Pension. Dwight will be talking about qualifications, how the benefit is calculated, how to apply and other important details.
What is Veterans Aid & Attendance?
Briefly, wartime veterans and their surviving spouses, 65 years and older, may be entitled to a tax-free benefit called Aid & Attendance provided by the Department of Veteran Affairs to pay for care costs whether you are living at home receiving care or in an assisted living community.
