NRA Basics of Pistol Firearm Instructional Class
Learn the fundamentals of pistol safety and operation in this comprehensive 9-hour course led by NRA Certified Instructors. Designed for beginners and those seeking formal certification, the program covers:
- Gun safety and responsible handling
- Operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols
- Ammunition knowledge and selection
- ???????Pistol selection, storage, and maintenance
- ???????Shooting fundamentals and marksmanship
- ???????Range safety and inspection practices
All classroom materials and supplies are included in the cost. Please note: no firearms or ammunition are permitted in the classroom. Participants are encouraged to bring a lunch for the full-day training.
On the range, students will complete live fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification. Each participant will receive:
- The NRA Guide: Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook

- An official course completion certificate signed by the NRA Secretary and your NRA Certified Instructor
