About Staci Peters
Staci Peters is Senior Vice President of Business Services for Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS) at the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Savannah River Site. In this role, she is responsible for Contracts and Supply Chain Management, Finance, Information Technology, Organizational Analytics, Project Controls, Strategic Improvement and Innovation, Business Planning and Integration, and Enterprise Systems Solutions. Peters has more than 25 years of experience supporting government contractors by ensuring accurate financial management, adherence to contractual terms and federal government regulations, identification of financial risks, execution of process improvements, and implementation of internal controls.  In her most recent role, Peters served as SRNS Deputy Vice President of Business Services and Chief Financial Officer, supporting the Senior Vice President with leading a team of more than 1,200 business professionals. Prior to joining SRNS, she served as the Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Business Services Director for Fluor-BWXT Portsmouth LLC, a DOE Decontamination and Decommissioning contractor in Portsmouth, Ohio.  In this role, she was responsible for overseeing the Accounting and Finance organization and supporting the Director of Business Services in leading the Supply Chain Management, Document Control, and Information Technology departments. Peters also served as the Finance Manager for a cabinet manufacturer, collaborating with executive leadership to drive financial decisions.  Additionally, Peters completed the Fluor Harvard Business Leaders of Leaders Program and Fluor Management Institute Training.  She is the chair of the SRNS Business Managers Council and is a member of the Benefits Committee, Savings and Pension Committee, and the University of South Carolina Aiken School of Business Advisory Council.
